Environment, Ecological & Sustainability
Our Environment team has extensive experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams. The disciplines we consistently interface with include the following; civils, stations and depots, signalling, permanent way, telecoms and bridge design teams.
The Environment team is a well-rounded team who are all members of IEMA and have a solid understanding relating to climate change issues and cause. The team leader is a Chartered Environmentalist and Full member of IEMA.
Our dedicated Geo-Environmental Team with considerable expertise in the design and execution of geological, hydrogeological and contaminated land studies for clients across the UK. We have extensive experience in the full project life-cycle from pre-site assessments through to close-out and operation
TSP Projects is a certified provider of IEMA Environmental Management and CIWM Waste Management courses. We provide a range of courses that have been developed to reflect upon the knowledge, skills and resources needed to achieve your goals.
Our Geotechnical team has considerable expertise in the design and execution of ground investigations for track renewal, bridge reconstruction works, slope stability and piling.
Our team has a strong track record in the delivery of targeted and focused ground investigations review both geotechnical and geoenvironmental issues within the sites. This experience is particularly strong in relation to operating on Network Rail infrastructure with previous projects completed safely and to the clients‘ requirements.
We have a dedicated Level Crossing design team. The team is experienced in preparing feasibility studies and designs for level crossings, working mainly for Network Rail and Principal Contractors, but also for private railway operators within the UK. Depending on the project, these experts work as part of a multi-disciplinary team or deliver a standalone service.
Our collaborative approach ensures we’re on the level, at every stage of the project.
Mechanical & Electrical
The M&E team has over 30 years experience of producing a wide range of designs for rail clients, working mainly for Network Rail across the UK but also for Iarnrod Eireann and LUL, either directly or via various contractors on design and build contracts.
Depending on the project, they work as part of a wider multidisciplinary team or deliver a stand-alone service.
Our business is active in the construction market. We design, manufacture and erect modular structures, which deliver a wide range of off-site construction benefits, such as enhanced speed of construction, greater accuracy and improved site efficiency. We are an industry leader and can draw upon varied design and operational experience from across our workforce to value manage solutions, providing best value to the client.
Our Survey Team is a constituent part of the Site Services Team and carries out Topographic Surveys for both internal and external to 3rd parties on a whole range of survey requirements and needs. These Surveys are primarily Rail based, but other Topographic Survey needs are met. This also includes survey and provision of data with BIM projects in mind and the creation of 3D models and use of Laser Scanning equipment
Our track team is one of the largest Permanent Way teams in the country and has a vast depth of knowledge and experience. The team is based in Manchester and York and provides designs from feasibility stage through to construction and has worked on some of the largest UK enhancement projects over the past 10 years. Clients range from Network Rail to contractors and TfL.
