Have you heard of the Superdry 100x100x100 Challenge? TSP Projects have proudly been supporting Karen Lofthouse, Head of Bid Management in our York office, who is competing in the challenge on June 10 where she’ll race a staggering 100 miles.

This will be Karen’s first sporting challenge since an accident in January 2014, which left a permanent disability and a huge hill to climb. Over the last four years, with help from TSP Projects, Karen has been conquering both a physical and mental battle on her road to wellbeing. Through this experience, Karen has been working with Help for Heroes, who were a huge help as she made a bid for this year’s Invictus Games. While she narrowly missed out, it provided a great opportunity to give back and raise awareness of using the power of sport in both mental and physical recovery

Any impact on an employees physical or mental wellbeing can be lifechanging and it’s important for us at TSP Projects to work collaboratively in finding positive ways forward for our staff who may have experienced challenging times in either their personal lives or career.

Sport is a great way to overcome a personal setback and Karen is a shining example of what can be achieved through dedication and tenacity. Karen’s raising funds for Help for Heroes through Just Giving, if you would like to donate and read more of Karen’s story click here
